Cameron Craig will share how communication played a pivotal role in Apple’s turnaround period from Steve Jobs return as CEO to the launch of iPhone. Over this period, Apple would prove the cynics wrong and dazzle the world with its groundbreaking innovations, masterful marketing and against-the-grain approach.

Cameron will share five communications lessons from those days and how you can take advantage of these same principles for your company or brand. Themes include the importance of keeping it simple, prioritizing influencers, staying focused on your message, and leveraging outside milestones for internal momentum.

Connecting communicators around the dinner table

As professional communicators, we all know that simple ideas can be the most powerful. Imagine the value of placing nine SF IABC members in an intimate private dining venue, serving them dinner, and launching a conversation on a fascinating communications topic.

Since 2003, SF IABC has offered a unique professional development and networking program called Networking 9. Featuring a handful of small-group, dinner-discussions each year, Networking 9 gives participants the opportunity to explore new ideas, share real-world challenges, and build deeper IABC relationships.

If you’re interested in participating in a Networking 9 event, please contact Jeff Leslie or Corey Connors, our program directors. Each participant pays for their own meal and the events typically run from 6 – 9 p.m.
