As a member of the Internal Communications team, you will help Box’s 2,200 employees around the world embrace our strategy, values, culture, epic workplace and amazing teams through a multichannel communications approach. In this role, there is great opportunity to impact leaders, functions and the entire company by helping build community and dialogue across Box.


  • You will be a part of the Internal Communications team, helping to drive and execute on strategic communications plans, innovative engagement & culture communications, change communications strategies and operational communications. You will also produce, write and edit business communications, including all hands events, weekly Friday Lunch series, videos, newsletters, internal social media channels, internal/external presentations, talking points and more.
  • Support and execute creative strategies for communicating to employees, reporting to the Director of Internal Comms, as well as with internal partners as needed across functions (Chiefs of Staff, PR, Legal, HR, etc.) and geographies
  • Provide communications and program management support as needed


  • Have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. 
  • Demonstrate 3+ years of experience working in communications in the corporate, media, government or non-profit spaces with a focus on writing and execution. 
  • Can help shape the internal communications narrative and effectively communicate via presentations, scripts, social media or emails without significant editing. 
  • Experience designing presentations, videos and creative collateral. 
  • Ability to work calmly and maintain good judgment in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Ability to work effectively across many functions.

You are quick-witted, entrepreneurial and intellectually curious. To succeed in this role, you are willing to try new things and can manage numerous projects with tight deadlines. Things happen quickly at Box, and to do great work, you need to be an enthusiastic team player who can work cross-functionally with partners across PR, comms, marketing, product and beyond. You will be based in our Redwood City headquarters, with the opportunity to occasionally work from our San Francisco office.
