The Senior Strategist is responsible for leading, building and maintaining productive and profitable client relationships. This includes leading project teams and work, providing strategic counsel that leads to increased budgets and stronger client relationships, and supporting Brilliant Ink’s efforts to identify and pursue new opportunities for growth. 


  • Lead major client engagements and projects in partnership with account team to deliver best-in-class solutions
  • Provide strategic oversight of Brilliant Ink client accounts and project teams to ensure we are delivering outstanding service
  • Partner with the Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure project is staffed and paced appropriately
  • Manage and direct external vendors and contractors on behalf of clients
  • Take the big-picture view to develop strategic goals, predict outcomes and direct efforts for the best results
  • Develop knock-your-socks-off writing, content and materials on behalf of our clients
  • Serve as the quality seal of approval on client projects and deliverables, including overseeing materials and the work product of the support team
  • Nurture strong and mutually respectful client relationships, while identifying and pursuing opportunities to grow existing client accounts
  • Manage time effectively to maintain project profitability
  • Take an active role in Brilliant Ink marketing and business development efforts, including developing marketing materials (e.g., blog posts, white papers) and new business proposals

  • Experienced in leading internal comms and/or HR projects with clients, either in-house, at an agency or as an independent consultant (ideally 5-10 years of experience)
  • Possess a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Smartsheet and time-tracking tools
  • Have strong attention to detail, organization and accuracy, and exceptional time-management skills
