Living in the Bay Area gives us a front-row seat to the disruption in other industries (when was the last time you rented a DVD?). Technologies like artificial intelligence and virtual reality could be game changers. Big data analytics are already impacting our profession. What about the lasting impact of fake news – and cybersecurity – that came to the forefront during the Presidential election? It stands to reason that radical changes will reshape communications in the coming years.
