Independent Communicators’ Roundtable
SF IABC’s Independent Communicators’ Roundtable (ICR) is a forum for communications professionals who are self-employed. Whether you’re a consultant, entrepreneur, freelancer, running a side hustle or just exploring the indie life, you’re welcome at ICR.
Our mission is to help our businesses grow and thrive. If you’re looking for a network to share best practices in managing and marketing our businesses, recommend resources, offer job leads, troubleshoot issues and find referral partners, ICR is for you.
Like IABC, we welcome a wide range of communications pros. Our ranks include marketing and communications consultants, public relations professionals, writers, editors, graphic designers, website developers, photographers and content strategists.
What types of events do you hold? We offer a mix of workshops, discussions and structured networking sessions. When we can meet in person, we also have occasional face-to-face lunches.
Are your meetings limited to members? Events are free to members. Non-members can join most events for a small fee.
Interested in volunteering to oversee the ICR program? Have an idea for an event, know a great speaker or interested in presenting? Reach out to us.
